Any.do: To-Do List, Tasks, Calendar & Reminders App Reviews

I had rejected this after subscribing as I couldnt see how to operate it usefully. Im dim, I accept that, but I resumed use after rejecting yet another costly but tedious planner. I started getting it at last when suddenly my screen changed from a list to a blank screen on my I pad. I eventually discovered that if I swiped right I get a limited view side menu with half the screen blank. I cannot get that to go back to a list and have not found out what to do. Once again Ill have to spend more time finding out how to have the app work for me instead of my having to work the app. Ive had computers since 1988 but I seem unable to grasp the way modern apps work. Perhaps my intuitions were destroyed by years of having manuals for my instruction.

I use it in conjunction with Alexa. Me and my wife list is in sync. If I add anything to the list she can cross it off once its done. Havent been using the actual app alot other than crossing things off. But liked the clean design and ease of use.

Any.do does exactly what I want, a simple todo list with a little bit of scheduling, not a full blown project management tool.

Finally something that helps me get things done. It helps to be familiar with "Get Things Done" book then go to work with this app. Its amazing! It works!

Any.do is absolutely the best task organizer, and the best calendar Ive ever tried!!! I bought the premium version because I loved it so much!! I love the dark theme! The only change Id make, is that my reminders on Any.do dont show as overdue or show the date and time for the reminder on the apps widget.

If it integrated with my Apple watch this would be a clear winner for me! Great app for anyone not in need of having it synced with their watch. Will keep an eye out for that added feature.

The recent app update to the Plan Your Day function breaks the way the original Any.Do handled ad-hoc tasks. Used to be that I could Plan My Day and aspire to complete task "X" some point during the day. The latest update seems to force task "X" to be completed at a specific time in the day. Furthermore in Plan My Day, if I set a task to move to tomorrow, a time & date is set to the task. If I dont like the time, I just want the task set to tomorrow, without a time and I delete the time & date, the task moves back to today. The way Plan My Day works now in regards to task scheduling has become a bit clunky & fiddly. I used Any.do as a checklist and not calendar. The app seems to want me to push into calendar-izing tasks, when my original "like" in Any.do was the simple "Today", "Tomorrow", "Upcoming", "Someday" concept in task management. I didnt need more complex organizing than these 4 buckets. I have too much invested in this app, so wont be changing apps, but I wish I could go back to the old way of organizing.

Its fine compare to other apps but I love to costuming my tasks and add lots of emojis to them, it transfers my emojis into question marks :(

The more calendar-focused design in this version has sacrificed some of the cleanliness that I liked about this app. This change has also made it a bit notification happy. Of course, people get organized in different ways, but for me, a to-do list is just a totally different thing from a set of appointments. I know its a hard balance to keep things simple while adding features. Maybe the new model could be made optional if there enough users like me

This is the BEST task manager app, and Ive been using it since 2014. And it just keeps getting better! I often feel overwhelmed with all the things on my plate. But the super cute "awesome!" "Woo!" "Good job!" sounds make me feel like Im so successful and nothing can stop me! It encourages me to tackle on the next thing. I love it. Also the developers have always listened to any suggestions for improvement. Thank you! ?

This has been my favorite app for managing my tasks and keeping track of events. Wish I would have known about this app a long time ago.

Love being able to have reminders on my phone that I gave Alexa. Couldnt figure out how to delete them. When I told them they got back to me immediately w the solution.

We need a way to delete things from a list when they are completed.
