Another user on January 22, named Aquagil, left a review that is exactly what I’ve been saying to the development team for the last couple of years now. You are not alone, aqua girl, contrary to what the developers response was. Lots of other people I imagine are having the same issue. They just refused to acknowledge it. I’ve used this app for probably since it first started 15 years ago and have not had issues until the last few years. Now, EVERY SINGLE TIME they do an update it crashes. And every time I’ve left a review or reached out to the development team to report the issue, they claim that I’m the only one in the world who has this problem and they have no idea what I’m talking about.

i’ve been looking for years for the best task list/planner. I’ve tried things, OmniFocus and a couple more, but this has been working the best for me. The only issue I have is that my phone and my computer app do not sync so I’m always having to update both.

Noooooooo. Why did you take off the Category in the shopping list. It was BETTER that way. Can you bring it back? Or have a Option to turn it on or off PLEASE.

Created an account using third party (Apple). Loved the functionality of the app but it logged me out and I can’t get back in to my premium subscription account. It just creates a new free account every.single.time. Support chat bot told me what I needed to do but the steps it’s telling me to do aren’t even accessible since the latest iOS update. No customer service number to call. Requested refund from Apple and will find an app where I can actually LOG IN TO MY PAID ACCOUNT. Unstalling.

The best organization/planning app I have used, of many; by far. A very rich, very high-quality system. Terrific. Perfect for me and my law firm.

I have been using this app for a while and its great and all- but the integration between desktop and phone is terrible- my updates never show up when they are updates on either channel

My list of completed tasks disappeared all of a sudden and I could never bring it back. This app isn’t the same like it is anymore. Don’t subscribe if you plan to soon.

The only thing that makes sense

Paying customer here and venture capitalist. This is a relatively simplistic app so would appreciate it if this didn’t crash every time a new update was rolled out. Current version crashes the second you move around a task. Frustrating this happens every new version. Requires deleting it, redownloading…..and having all your locally stored tasks messed up and having to redo it. For a venture funded “startup” (now 15 yrs in), this is SaaS 101 that should be locked down by now. Really shouldn’t have to jump on here to leave a review like this. Will re-review with a different rating once these guys figure it out.

When this app recently updated, all of my tasks disappeared, but customer support was able to resolve the issue. Thank goodness, as I completely rely on this app to organize my life!

Users are forced to set up an account even to explore the app. That’s a major concern and an invasive requirement. I do not want my personal, private information synced to a 3rd party server. Developers: Let us explore your app WITHOUT having to set up an account. Give us an option later of synching, locally or via iCloud if we chose to—and even to skip your servers! Respect our privacy — and let us try your app without an account; that is, to test the waters first! THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE, BUT YOU MISS THE KEY POINT! 1. Give us the ability to TEST your app without having to FIRST set up an account. We need to know if it's even a viable todo app before synching our data. 2. As to the privacy concerns, give users the OPTION to sync directly to their Mac if they would like to. Don't force 3rd party server syncing upon users! Better apps respect users' privacy concerns and give them options!

I was looking for any.do to be a replacement for Meister Task which I LOVE. I was so thrilled to find out all of the integrations that were available for this app, including ChatGPT. … And then I realized that you can ONLY access the Kanban style views if you pay extra for teams or a family plan, which I do not need. Because visual planning and since Kanban is the project management system and style I have used for decades, this isn’t a nice to have, it’s a MUST have. AND…. That the Kanban functionality, even if I DO upgrade, is only available via the Webb… And not the Mac, iPhone or iPad apps.😢 This app has some amazing functionality and beautiful design… but without universal access to Kennan boards…It’s a fail for me. I’m sure other people love it, but I can’t believe that this isn’t standard across all tiers - just like almost every other productivity app out there, including Trello, which is just as affordable.

I tried this app once and disliked it. Deleted it from my phone and yet I’m still getting charged. Two charges so far and not reimbursed.

Not worth subscription. Worthless

I have an account from website. When I open the app, it shows different seemingly login options. When we choose ‘email’, rather than a log in option, it automatically makes it a signup and I can’t log in with my email. I’ve even tried making a new password but it doesn’t allow it. Via the ai chatbot from the website, it says there should be an option to choose ‘log in’ or ‘signup’ but there is not. This frustration dive me to look at other options such as Trello, ClickUp, and Monday among others that don’t make this complicated.

Very handy app to organizing your time and task

How on earth do you get the menu to remain at the bottom of the app instead of the search box? Completely annoying. Just let the menu be. Menus should be available. Kinda their point.

Sign up using email did not work for me. If you don’t want to use social sign on like Google or Apple you’re out of luck.

I'm picky about how I manage my tasks and personal projects. I've used at least a dozen apps and I've written my own task managers when the apps frustrated me. With Any.do, I've finally found a task manager that lets me prioritize the way I want to (and the key feature for this are the tags!) This app has not frustrated me yet, so I think I finally found the right task manager for me - thank you, Any.do!

Purchased it years ago, but now they erased all my data and they’re trying to force me to pay monthly. Very poor customer service I highly. Recommend not supporting their business.

If you want custom lists, custom headers and custom named priorities then this app isn’t for you.

I wish there was an option for user to preset always alarms for notifications and alarms make sound

All of a sudden, I have a $65 charge from an app I never use!

The new update and app lay out is horrible. It’s not as user friendly. The my day page is super annoying. I loved this app and really hate I’m going to have to find a different one now.

I am happy with the help I have received from the specialists at the App Store. The Air Pod Pro 2 earpieces are working very well at this time.

I paid for premium and has not upgraded. And will not upgrade. There’s no one to chat with about the issue. There’s no phone number to dial customer service. And after submitting a complaint, I have to wait one or two days for a response. Unacceptable.

This app and auto billing is deceptive…consumers BEWARE!!

You get a daily notification in the morning but when you tap on it, the “upgrade” screen asks you to pay money. So either app has been buggy for long time and nobody bothered to fix it. Or, the simplest feature that like “moment” that this app can offer is kept behind a pay wall. Either way don’t consider it unless you wanna pay.

Just downloaded the app ~30min ago. It’s already heading to the bin. A star given for the overall first impression of the interface. In many ways it borrows or models itself after Apple’s own native apps, which IMHO is terrific. However, 3 stars off bc Anydo ultimately failed to meet a couple minimal expectations: 1) INCONSISTENT FONT SIZE. I have good vision but the font type and size in the app are inconsistent. Some places have mouse-font that can barely be seen. (I expect this for certain calendar views but not anywhere else.) Can’t find app specific controls to adjust this. 2) CAN’T FIND CONTROLS TO DELETE INDIVIDUAL LIST ITEMS. I know they’re in there somewhere but even using Anydo FAQ, can’t find it. For example, building a grocery list adding items works much like Apple’s Reminder app which, again, terrific. However deleting individual items from that list is challenging. I can only find controls to delete the entire grocery list. Swiping, press/hold nor any menu I could find has worked. I now realize the same is true on other lists. Perhaps my growing frustration blinded me from seeing the obvious but that is EXACTLY why I’m considering deleting the app. I don’t want an app that drains my time and energy figuring out how to do easy things. I want to get in/out of the app quickly. I don’t want list making to become another time draining task that gets in the way of actually doing. If deleting a grocery list item turned into a 30min speed bump, what happens if I try to use Anydo for something important? Shame. The initial impression showed such promise…That all said, Anydo has stood the test of time and has many devoted followers. That’s a HUGE accomplishment. For that, I give a second star out of respect.

Didn’t want to pay for premium because I wouldn’t use any of the premium features. As soon as I dismissed it, it keeps showing the stupid ad in the bottom left corner.

The latest iteration of the app broke the app and made it unstable. Now I can’t open the app and it just freezes with the logo. All of my lists are inaccessible.

Any.do periodically pulls tasks forward, ignoring my priorities. Then I must resequence them again. Let me decide when I need to complete each task please.

this should be a one time purchase. $8/month for such a simple app is absurd.

One of the most beautiful task apps on both mobile and desktop. It has some nice features to boot. Saying that I may have to use a different app because there is no two-factor authentication. If I want to use the app’s calendar view I have to two-way sync my personal calendar. If someone hacks my any.do account they’ll have access to all of my calendar entries..

I love it; I’m trying to use it for everything; as a consequence everything is inside of it, and now when I go to open the app on my iPhone 15 plus it crashes and won’t open! I have the most recent updated version of the app. This is a real problem for me, I’m running a campaign and need it many times daily. Help!!

I may have to delete the app because of the new pop up video ads and animations to upgrade. This is not an effective way to advertise on a productivity app, and I regret updating to the latest version.

I like app layout but task doesn’t flow right. Overly complicated. I hope the developers will make improvements.
